    Diesel-driven Double-suction Split Case Pump with an innovative structure is newly developed by our technical team based on mature similar products. It is designed as horizontal, single-stage and horizontally split case type, suitable for conveying clean water and liquids with similar physical and chemical properties. The medium temperature shall not exceed 80°C. It is widely applied in process water supply systems, fire protection systems, urban flood control and drainage, and other scenarios.

    Transmission Mode

    This pump supports two drive types: direct drive and variable speed drive. Please specify the motor model, power and rotating speed before ordering, so that we can confirm the specifications of coupling or pulley.

    Rotation Direction

    Viewed from the drive end, the pump rotates counterclockwise.

    Material Description

    Available materials: copper, cast iron, ductile iron, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 416 stainless steel, duplex steel, Hastelloy, Monel, titanium alloy, Alloy 20, etc.

    Operating Conditions

      1. Ambient temperature ≤ 50°C; conveyed medium temperature ≤ 80°C.

      2. For cast iron pumps, the pH value of the medium shall be kept between 6 and 9.

      3. Maximum density of the medium: 1240 kg/m³.

      4. Equipped with foot valve and priming water: maximum suction lift ≤ 6 m; maximum length of suction pipeline ≤ 10 m.

    Performance Features

    The suction and discharge nozzles are located below the pump shaft, arranged horizontally and perpendicular to the shaft axis. No need to disconnect pipelines or remove the motor during maintenance. The standard rotation direction is counterclockwise (custom rotation direction is available upon request).

    Main components include pump body, pump cover, impeller, pump shaft, double-suction wear ring and shaft sleeve. The pump shaft is made of carbon steel; other parts are manufactured from cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel.

    The pump body and pump cover form the working chamber for the impeller. Tapped holes for vacuum gauge and pressure gauge are reserved on inlet and discharge flanges, and pipe thread drain holes are arranged at the bottom of flanges.

    The impeller undergoes static balance test and is fastened on the pump shaft by sleeve nuts, whose axial position is adjustable. Symmetrical double-suction structure effectively balances the axial thrust of the impeller.

    Radial bearings are installed in bearing housings at both ends to support stable operation, adopting grease lubrication.

    The double-suction wear ring reduces liquid leakage from the pressure chamber back to the suction chamber.

    The pump is normally driven by a motor via a coupling; internal combustion engine drive is also optional.

    Shaft seal adopts gland packing as standard, and mechanical seal is available on request. A packing ring is fitted inside the packing assembly to prevent air ingress and provide cooling & lubrication. During operation, a small amount of high-pressure liquid flows through the trapezoidal groove on the split surface of the pump cover into the packing chamber to form a water seal.
