2. Harm of gas binding phenomenon

Centrifugal pump can not hit the liquid, the unit produces severe vibration, accompanied by strong harsh noise, motor idling, easy to burn out the motor, affecting the efficiency of conveying liquid and the normal operation of the centrifugal pump.

3. Gas binding preventive measures

Before starting, the centrifugal pump should be filled with the liquid to be transported in the centrifugal pump shell, and the outlet valve should be closed when starting. In order to prevent the liquid poured into the centrifugal pump shell from flowing into the low groove due to gravity, the inlet of the centrifugal pump suction pipeline is equipped with a check valve (bottom valve). If the position of the centrifugal pump is lower than the liquid level in the groove, the centrifugal pump does not need to be filled when starting. Do a good job of sealing the shell, filling the valve can not leak, the sealing is better.

In order to avoid the occurrence of gas binding phenomenon, also need to pay attention to some preventive measures. For example, the working parameters of the pump should be reasonably selected to ensure that the pump runs within the design working conditions, and the sealing device of the pump should be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure that the pump has good sealing performance, avoid vortex or reflux at the pump inlet, and reduce gas dissolution And precipitation. In addition, maintaining a stable flow at the inlet of the pump and avoiding pipe blockage and liquid fluctuations is also the key to preventing the gas trap phenomenon.
