The efficiency of multi-stage centrifugal pump is not single, it is the product of mechanical, volume and hydraulic efficiency. The reason for the reduction of multi-stage centrifugal pump efficiency is the source problem we want to understand. Factors affecting the efficiency of multistage centrifugal pumps:
The quality of design and manufacture directly affects the mechanical efficiency of multi-stage centrifugal pumps;

Methods to improve the operating efficiency of self-balancing multistage pumps:
1, replace the inefficient centrifugal pump. When replacing, the centrifugal pump which is close to the actual operating condition parameters is selected to ensure that the replaced pump is always running in an efficient state. We have done the efficiency comparison experiment before and after the replacement of centrifugal pump. The experiment shows that the pump efficiency can be improved by about 10% after replacing the inefficient and high consumption centrifugal pump.
2. Regularly check the pump efficiency of the self-balancing multi-centrifugal pump. For the pump group with low pump efficiency, find the reason in time and take corresponding measures to solve it.
3. Clean the filter cylinder regularly and check the pipeline connection to ensure the smooth flow of the centrifugal pump inlet pipeline.
4. Maintenance of centrifugal pump. (1) Always check and adjust the shaft end seal of the centrifugal pump to reduce the volume loss;(2) When the centrifugal pump has been running for 10000 h, it should be overhauled to restore the pump efficiency;(3) Promote the application of bellows sealing technology on centrifugal pumps to completely eliminate centrifugal pump leakage and improve volumetric efficiency.
5, in strict accordance with the centrifugal pump operating procedures, before starting the pump to disk pump, open the inlet valve, close the outlet valve, exhaust vent, check whether the inlet pressure of the pump meets the requirements. 7. Application of frequency conversion energy saving technology. For the centrifugal pump whose design parameters are greater than the actual operating conditions, after installing the frequency conversion speed regulation device, it always runs in the high-efficiency area.
8. Promote the application of high-efficiency and energy-saving permanent magnet speed-regulating motors and dual-power motors and other new energy-saving products on major centrifugal pumps.
