Product Description
COS type high-efficiency horizontal single-stage double-suction split case centrifugal pump is the 5th-generation new product of double-suction split case pumps independently developed by our company. The product range features broader performance coverage, optimized hydraulic design, rational and robust structure. Humanized design is adopted for operation and maintenance, enabling quick and easy handling for users.
Structure Features
The COS high-efficiency horizontal single-stage double-suction split case centrifugal pump is horizontally installed. The pump casing is horizontally split along the shaft centerline, with the upper part as the pump cover and the lower part as the pump body. Both suction and discharge nozzles are arranged on the pump body below the pump shaft, with their centerlines perpendicular to the shaft axis. During maintenance, the pump cover and rotor assembly can be removed without disconnecting inlet and outlet pipelines. The shaft seal is available in gland packing seal or mechanical seal.
The COS series split case pumps can be installed horizontally or vertically. For horizontal pumps, the drive end can be arranged on either the left or right side as required. Flange holes comply with GB, ISO, DIN, BS and ASME standards.
Both ends are equipped with grease-lubricated ball bearings; oil-lubricated structure is also available as an option. For vertical type, the upper end adopts grease-lubricated ball bearings, while the lower end uses silicon carbide wear-resistant journal bearings lubricated by the conveyed medium.
The pump can be configured for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation per customer requirements.
Application
COS type pumps are widely used in waterworks, irrigation, drainage pumping stations, power plants, industrial water supply systems, fire protection systems and marine systems. They are also applicable for general service in the petroleum refining industry.
