Product Description
This pump is applied for water injection in brine wells of brine mining & transportation systems. Its wetted medium is salt-making wastewater containing dissolved salts including NaCl, Na₂SO₄ and CaSO₄. The medium is normally at ambient temperature, with maximum working temperature ≤50°C.
Product Overview
DFP self-balancing corrosion-resistant multistage brine pump features outstanding corrosion resistance for corrosive medium transportation. Developed and manufactured in compliance with API610 standards, this stainless steel self-balancing multistage pump adopts symmetric rotor self-balancing construction, delivering better running stability and energy efficiency than conventional sectional multistage pumps. It boasts wide high-efficiency operating range, broad performance envelope, excellent anti-cavitation performance, safe & smooth operation, low noise, fewer wearing parts as well as easy installation and maintenance.
Structure Description
With no balancing assembly fitted, the DFP brine pump eliminates both disc friction loss of balance disc and backflow loss of balancing medium. Its hydraulic efficiency is 5%~14% higher than similar conventional multistage pumps. The removal of balance disc friction reduces shaft power consumption and saves around 3% of running power compared with equivalent multistage pumps. Besides, it fundamentally eliminates typical failures such as balance disc/ring abrasion and rotor seizure caused by failed balancing devices, greatly extending pump service life. Its trouble-free service life exceeds three times that of standard pumps, cutting end-users’ maintenance cost and overall life-cycle cost.
Application
For conveying solid-free corrosive liquids at temperature ranging from −20℃ to 105℃.
